"Moments of Tranquility" :: The Hummingbird Plaque Bronze Sculpture View Slideshow: It is my second bronze plaque and it's of Hummingbirds. We have a couple of Hummingbird feeders that I've placed close to our sliding door so that we could see and visit with them as close as possible. I love the playful high energy they bring to our home. This piece is in honor of our love for these little friends that visit each summer. On the left side of the plaque is a design that is laid on its side of altars, and two triangles that represent prayer feathers of the wild turkey. I use these symbols to represent prayer and an appreciation that centers me as I reflect on all the joy and the good these hummingbirds bring into our life. The hummingbird at the top is a male, a female in the middle and another male at the bottom. (Joe Cajero) |
